She has both sides to her. On the one hand, she has meetings with 10 to 15 people each day. On the other hand, she has an introverted, calm and cosy personality.
Let’s get to know her better!
I have a background in different industries – retail, insurance, finance, IT, real estate and now gaming. I’ve been in Talent Acquisition for almost 7 years now, and it’s been one of the most challenging yet rewarding journeys.
I started in a Junior role – interview scheduling and recruitment support. Then I moved to the Internship committee and started learning interviewing skills – this helped me to understand where I want to be in the future.
I worked with different people from different countries and faced many challenges in really dynamic environments – and I am still in the same field, with the same challenges, and that is what makes me alive!
The reason for joining the gaming industry is the product itself, people who work with game creation, publishing and etc. I’m thrilled to be part of such a vibrant and creative team, who are always striving to push the boundaries and create something new.
I love the fact that Wargaming is always open to new ideas and encourages innovation, which makes working here exciting and fun. I have always loved working with people who are proud of what they are doing, and that is Wargaming!
I believe that Wargaming stands out from other companies in its passionate approach to what we do. It’s clear that we have an incredibly strong commitment to delivering the best possible gaming experience, and we are consistently striving to develop innovative new technologies and features. I think this is one of the core values that makes Wargaming so unique.
We do not have boring days – EVER! The job is never dull because I get to work with different tools, systems, and social media every day. It’s exciting because I’m able to use my creative juices to connect with exceptional talent across the globe.
Working as a Global Head of Talent Acquisition leader also gives me an opportunity to foster relationships with new people and collaborate on interesting projects. I’m constantly meeting new contacts, which broadens my network of contacts – you never know whom you’ll meet next!
I would say that Lithuania is a wonderful place to be. I love its people and culture, as well as the delicious food and four distinct seasons – something that many countries don’t have!
I absolutely love walking. It’s a great way to get out and explore the world around me, as well as get some exercise. I often like to explore different cities while on vacation or business trips or even just walk around my own neighbourhood when I’m feeling restless.
I think the longest walking distance I made was in Spain and it was around 200 km! This walking marathon gave me an incredible amount of energy and power.
Walking in nature is one of my favourite things – whether it be through woods, fields, or along a beach – soaking in the peacefulness of the environment and possibly seeing some wildlife makes for an incredibly fulfilling experience.
The funniest stories are the ones that I want to keep to myself or my team.
Outside work, I’m a natural introvert, and I enjoy being alone, whether it be reading a book or just taking some time to relax. It might surprise people since they don’t associate an introverted personality with someone in recruitment. But that’s one of the things that I really love about this job – it gives me a chance to connect with others and learn their stories while helping them reach their goals.
My advice to new joiners would be to ask questions and get involved in conversations and activities with their colleagues. Showing initiative is always appreciated!
In addition, I suggest that new joiners make an effort to connect with those around them. We have a great group of people here at our company, and it’s important for everyone to feel welcome and included in our workplace.
