Daiva Sederevice
HR Director

Fun fact about Daiva: she was the very first employee of the Wargaming Vilnius office and had onboarded many Wargamers in Lithuania.

She’s a superwoman, a workaholic and you should definitely get to know her better!

Could you tell us the story about your career path and education?

I completed my education with a bachelor’s degree in law, followed by a master’s degree in employment law. During my time in London, I also had the opportunity to complete English studies. Following my studies, my career path has seen me gain extensive experience in human resources and quality management (ISO standards).

Name several reasons why you chose to join the gaming industry. What’s so attractive about the game industry?

I chose to join the gaming industry because of its newness, which drew me in with a sense of curiosity and an eagerness to learn how it works from the inside. I was struck by the creativity and passion of the people in the industry, who brought something truly unique and exciting to the world of gaming.

What’s so special about the Human Resources discipline and your area of responsibility?

Human Resources Ops is the backbone of our organisation, and I’m passionate about ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. My goal is to ensure that our employees have the best experience possible when they come through our HR processes.

I’ve been in the HR Operations space for many years now, so I understand the ins and outs of getting things done quickly and effectively. I strive to create a warm and friendly environment for all our employees by ensuring their time with us is as joyful as possible. We have a team of dedicated professionals that are always available to answer questions or provide support when needed.

Do you have a funny story from your work life?

Actually, I was the first employee of the Wargaming Vilnius office. When I started, there was nothing – no furniture, computers, anything. It was a blank canvas that we could build and create something unique. But with great power comes great responsibility, and I made sure to rise up to the challenge. I worked hard every day, establishing our processes and procedures from the ground up – from ordering the equipment and setting up our workspace to hiring new employees and creating an environment where they could thrive. I’m proud of what we built together in such a short time – a vibrant workplace like none other!

Could you share your thoughts about the privileges of being in Lithuania? What do you like the most about this country? Tell the fact why everyone should visit Lithuania!

My home country of Lithuania is truly a special place. Having experience living elsewhere for me, I know it stands as the best country to live in, surrounded by people who love it and are willing to make it better. I’m proud to call it my home and be part of a nation full of life. What I love the most about Lithuania is its ability to take something old and make it brand new again. From restoring old castles and churches to embracing traditional cuisine with a modern twist, Lithuania is always on the move.

When it comes to visiting Lithuania, there’s so much to see and do. Whether you’re looking for relaxation in one of the country’s many spas or parks, or you’re ready for an adventure with activities for every season and taste. But don’t forget all the fantastic food! No matter where you go in this country, you will find delicious Lithuanian cuisine that you’ll talk about long after your visit ends.
